To be honest, I have had this skirt, blouse and jacket sitting in my closet for a while. I really wanted to style this skirt but I could not seem to find the right pieces to go with it. After much time of trial and error, I finally found what I think is for me the unexpected pair...three items I would have never thought to pair together!

I know this feeling all too well! I have this amazing frilly layered skirt that would make Blair Waldorf herself envious, but I could never find the right top to go with it, so I refrained from wearing it for the past week. But then, this morning, I paired it with an oversized black drapey top, and voila, it worked! Haha, I love those moments...
