Recently, a friend of mine and I went to the Backstage Lounge located in Granville Island to watch a classic rock band play called Sons of Granville. I'm a huge supporter of local bands and these cool down to earth guys have a true passion for music and a unique sound. The band consists of Matthew Lennox who plays the Electric/Acoustic 12 string guitar, Thomas Beckman on the Viola and Jarrett Plett on the Drums/Percussion. If your a local Vancouverite or have been to Vancouver, you may have heard them playing while walking along Granville street. Needless to say, my friend and I had a great time taking in their high level energy performance! If your curious of what they sound like, click here to hear one of my favorite songs.
