How to Wear Summer Clothes Into Fall

I can't believe it is fall already and summer is over already! It just flew by! When it comes to seasons, I am definitely a summer girl and nothing to me is more depressing then cold weather, long dark days and the thought of hiding all of my summer clothes back into the closet! Well, just because summer has come to an end that doesn't mean that you have to put all of your summer clothes away just yet! 1. Layering is key. You can still wear shorts, skirts or those pretty little white dresses. All you need to do is add a few more layers. The solution for that cute little white dress, throw on an over-sized black, grey or brown cardigan over top. For shorts and skirts, wear a tank top with a sweater or a leather jacket. Layering is a great way to stay cozy and stylish during those weird warm/cool days.

2. Choose the summer items that are fall or neutral colors over the bright summer colors. Wearing a bright pink dress in the fall might not look as great as a grey, black or blue dress. If you choose a neutral color, it will be easier to layer and wear with boots, etc.

3. Keep your head or toes warm. Hats are a great way to hide dirty hair and keep your head warm at the same time. The same thing goes with your feet, throw on some ankle booties with that skirt, dress or shorts and your toes will be happy and warm. I'm wearing sandals here because it was still blistering hot when I took these pictures but I am sure you could get away with sandals too! ;)
