I know I may not seem to be over summer given all my latest posts about me holding onto summer when it comes to my outfits lately (and believe me I am still trying to do that as much as possible given our mild climate conditions currently)...and you also may still be thinking in fall mood, and even though I'm a summer girl at heart, I'm kind of excited to think about the holiday season! The fun festive holiday parties, curling up by the fire in a cozy sweater with a warm cup of apple cider, writing holiday cards, hanging out with family and friends and of course, shopping!!! With all that said, I'm excited to share with you an exclusive preview of few of my favorite pieces from Dynamite's 2015 Holiday collection. What to Wear instead of Sweatpants
I know we all get lazy sometimes and resort to wearing sweatpants, leggings or lululemon pants on a regular basis because they are easy and you can just throw them on. Well, what if you could wear pants that are just as comfy and make you look stylish at the same time? The alternative: loose fitting trousers! They are just as comfy as sweatpants and can be dressed up or down. Click the read more for a few ways on how to style the high waist trousers for a casual look or for the office.

In My Bag
Being a woman, naturally most of us carry a bag or purse (whatever you may call it) but we always fill it with so many items that we call "essentials". I must admit that I am guilty of lugging around sometimes way too many things but cleaning out and downsizing your bag is always important! Click the read more to find out my essential items that I carry around everyday!

Blanche MacDonald Centre: Spring 2015 Fashion Design Showcase

I recently had the pleasure of attending at Blanche Macdonald Centre for the Spring Fashion Design Showcase before a house packed
with family, friends and faculty. The show featured collections of the graduating students from the Fashion Design Program. Their was a wide variety of styles/designs from earthy whorls of South Iranian textile, to the
space-slick daze of star-hopping bohemians.

What to Pack for A Summer Three Week Vacation
Traveling and exploring a new place is one of my favorite things to do. With that said, I think having a carry on suitcase instead of checking your luggage is the best way to go. I spent three weeks in Europe in September and I had about 10 flights and I only had a carry on suitcase and a purse. Some of the flights charge you for checked luggage and having to wait for your suitcase after is not fun plus there is a chance it could get lost.
So whatever your summer travels might be, I've created a what to pack in your carry on suitcase for three weeks. A lot of the outfits/items can be mixed and matched and worn as layers. I think a neutral color palette is best as it is much easier to get more outfits/wear out of them all. Plus, you can save room for some fun purchases along your travels.

A hot new trend for Spring that was seen all over the runway and in fashion week is fringe. There are so many fun ways one can wear this trend. If your are feeling adventurous, you can do a full fringe dress or skirt! If you want to add a small touch of fringe, pair a simple outfit with a fringe vest, purse or heels. Would you wear this trend?

Vancouver Fashion Week FW 2015: Day 2
The final night that I attended Vancouver Fashion Week showcased one of my favorite designers Noe Bernacelli, which was the most highly anticipated collection of the night! Some of his evening collection featured lace, rose detail and sheer fabric which looked very elegant and classy. I was literally in shock and speechless of all of Noe Berncaelli's stunning garments...I think most of the crowd was too by the amount of jaws dropping as the models walked down the runway!
A new favorite designer from that night that I discovered is Haveney. Her collection featured a color palette of mostly black and white with some burgundy, lots of backless garments and some with lace detail. I loved the flow of the dresses to open backs and the fun floppy hats!
Another new favorite designer of mine from the evening is Pouneh Askarian. Her collection featured luxurious fabric and some timeless feminine details such as lace and midi skirts. I am a huge fan of the cut out details to all the lace touches such as the headbands!
That's a wrap for my Vancouver Fashion Week coverage until next season!

Vancouver Fashion Week FW 2015: Day 1
The first night I attended the shows for the Vancouver Fashion Week featured a few of my favorite designers. My first favorite designer is Paola Gamero. I absolutely loved the jazz vintage feel of her collection and all the pretty details such as the lace roses to the feather trims. I felt like I was in a old Hollywood movie! My second favorite designer from the evening was Naurmi. I loved the poncho sweaters to the different mixed shades of grey and the designs of the coats! I've posted some photographs of some of my favorites from each of the designers collections.
Stay tuned, more to come from Vancouver Fashion week!

intense!
